Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels (RSB)
Verno has been involved in a leadership role with the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels (RSB) since early 2009.
The RSB is a multi-stakeholder international initiative coordinated by the Energy Center at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. It comprises farmers, companies, non-governmental organizations, experts, governments and inter-governmental agencies united by the goal of ensuring sustainable biofuel production and processing.
The RSB has developed a robust, consensus-based biofuel sustainability standard encompassing environmental, social and economic principles and criteria.
